The Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (DBACVB) is a not-for-profit organization, through which public and private sectors have unified to market the area known as the Halifax Area or Daytona Beach area as a desirable destination for business and vacation travelers.

The Daytona Beach Area is a geographic marketing region that encompasses the following areas:

  • Daytona Beach
  • Daytona Beach Shores
  • Holly Hill
  • Ormond Beach
  • Ormond-By-The-Sea
  • Ponce Inlet
  • South Daytona

The CVB is responsible for the advertising and promotion of the Daytona Beach area as a tourism destination. The CVB works with area tourism and hospitality-related businesses, non-profit organizations, and event promoters to represent the area to potential travelers, tour operators, travel agents, meeting planners, and the travel media.

The Daytona Beach Area CVB works under the direction of the Halifax Area Advertising Authority (HAAA), which is an 11-member board appointed by members of the Volusia County Council. The CVB maintains a staff of approximately 21 full time marketing and administration professionals, which acts in accordance with initiatives outlined by HAAA.
