The Southeast Museum of Photography - 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach. This exhibition presents large scale and sublime color panoramas of anonymous individuals standing at the ocean's edge. Jim Vecchi holds a Master of Fine Arts from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University. He has taught at Stanford University, the San Francisco Art Institute, Cabrillo College, Monterey Peninsula College, the Instituto De Bellas Artes and Universidad Nacional in Medellin, Colombia and the Oregon School of Arts & Crafts in Portland. Vecchi has had solo exhibitions at the Lianzhou International Photo Festival, China; Foto & Photo Festivale Internazionale, Milan; the Internationale Fototage, Germany and at festivals, museums and commercial galleries in Italy, Colombia, India and throughout the United States; and participated in numerous group exhibitions in the United States and in Italy, France, Poland and Germany.
