There is a wide-range of careers available in the tourism field. From sales and marketing professionals to accountants and culinary specialists, the list goes well beyond hotel front desk clerks and ticket takers at theme parks.

Many jobs in tourism require more than a high school diploma. Here in the Daytona Beach Area, there are several institutions of higher learning that provide specialized educational programs in hospitality and tourism. These programs arm students with the necessary skills and training for immediate entry into the work force.

An advanced learning degree can help prepare you for a high-wage earning career in hospitality and tourism. You can prepare to enter the work force as a hotel manager, restaurant manager, marketing professional or sales associate.
