Meeting Facilities

Recently, more than $250 million was invested into Daytona Beach's core convention district. This landmark project has not only added more sophisticated accommodations and state-of-the-industry convention facilities to the area, but it has also spurred the refurbishment and expansion of hotels located throughout the resort area. In total, the area now offers well more than 350,000 square feet of meeting space.

CONVENTION HOTELS

The area's popular attractions and convention facilities provide meeting professionals with a variety of options. From the Ocean Center convention center which offers 60,000-square feet of meeting space to a historic oceanfront, open-air amphitheater, the Daytona Beach area is home to several unique venues that are sure to make your meeting memorable. The Ocean Center and entertainment complex has a full spectrum of services to complement its facilities, including decorators, electrical contractors, a computerized and staffed box office, local media advertising rates and more. Parking is available on-site at a spacious, 2,500-space garage. Centerplate, the Ocean Center's exclusive in-house caterer, offers fine dining, box lunches and everything in between.

Our Convention Center comes with "The World's Most Famous Beach". Located in the heart of the Daytona Beach Resort Area and just 400 freet from the Atlantic Ocean, the Ocean Center is the area's convention, entertainment and sports complex. Driving to the Daytona Beach area is easy, as two of the state's major interstates intersect here.

Take I-4 East until it ends
Take Ramp (LEFT) onto I-95 towards I-95 / Jacksonville
At I-95 Exit 261 (old Exit 87), turn RIGHT onto Ramp towards US-92 / Deland / Daytona Beach
Take Ramp onto US-92 (W International Speedway Blvd) towards Daytona Beach / Airport (you will travel East on US-92 for approximately 6 miles)
Turn LEFT (North) onto SR-A1A (S Atlantic Ave)
Ocean Center will be located approximately 1/ 2 mile on the left side of Atlantic Ave.

Directions heading South on I-95
Take I-95 South
At I-95 Exit 261 (old Exit 87), turn RIGHT onto Ramp towards US-92 / Deland / Daytona Beach
Take Ramp onto US-92 (W International Speedway Blvd) towards Daytona Beach / Airport (you will travel East on US-92 for approximately 6 miles)
Turn LEFT (North) onto SR-A1A (S Atlantic Ave)
Ocean Center will be located approximately 1/ 2 mile on the left side of Atlantic Ave.

Take I-95 North
At I-95 Exit 261(old Exit 87) (International Speedway Blvd.), turn RIGHT onto Ramp towards US-92 / Deland / Daytona Beach
Take Ramp onto US-92 (W International Speedway Blvd) towards Daytona Beach / Airport (you will travel East on US-92 for approximately 6 miles)
Turn LEFT (North) onto SR-A1A (S Atlantic Ave)

News-Journal Center - This new facility boasts two large theaters and an expansive lobby with a stunning view of the scenic Halifax River.

Peabody Auditorium - Located next to the Ocean Center in the center of the beachside's meeting district, the Peabody offers a convenient location with quality acoustics.

Halifax Historical Museum - Experience the rich history of the Daytona Beach area with artifacts dating from 5,000 B.C. including local Native Americans, Spanish and British colonial eras, early pioneer families, beach auto racing, World War II and vintage toys.

Jackie Robinson BallPark - This historic, 4,000-seat facility, sits on the scenic Halifax River, and is the site of 1946 debut of famous African-American ballplayer Jackie Robinson.

Bethune-Cookman University - Founded by civil rights activist and educator Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, this facility offers a rich history as well as the spectacular new Bethune Performing Arts Center.

Municipal Stadium - Conveniently located on LPGA Blvd. near US 92, the stadium hosts groups and events year-round.

Museum of Arts and Sciences - Featuring a fascinating variety of permanent and temporary exhibits - as well as a nature preserve, a planetarium and a theater - this facility provides a cultural backdrop to any group gathering.

Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center - With stadium seating for 600, this center offers the perfect venue for musical, theatrical and multi-media presentations.

DAYTONA500 EXPERIENCE (formerly DAYTONA USA) and the Daytona International Speedway have several unique meeting venues available. From the Official Attraction of NASCAR's lobby, the Daytona 500 Club, Bill France Room and Victory Lane, each makes for a memorable gathering.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University The nation's top aeronautical learning institute, ERAU's Daytona Beach campus has venues for a variety of meeting needs.
