The CVB contracts with Mid-Florida Marketing & Research to measure the economic impact of tourism and to gauge CVB programs and initiatives.
The area welcomes approximately 8 million visitors each year, with visitor expenditures now totaling $3.6 billion. The lodging industry pay $9.9 million in Volusia County ad valorem property taxes.
