The CVB contracts with Mid-Florida Marketing & Research to measure the economic impact of tourism and to gauge CVB programs and initiatives.
The area welcomes approximately 8.3 million visitors each year, with visitor expenditures now totaling $4.8 billion. The accommodations industry now pays an impressive $70 million annually in Volusia County ad valorem property taxes.
